Materials you will need:

42  10”x 10” squares of cotton quilting fabric.  This can be a Pre-cut “layer cake” that has many patterns Or you will need 3.25 Yards of 42” width Cotton fabric that you will cut into 42  10” squares.

 3.25 Yards of Osnaburg which you can get from JoAnn or Hobby Lobby.  I have quite a bit and you’re welcome to buy it from me at $4 /yard which is what I paid at JoAnn.   This will be cut into 42  10” squares

*3.25 yards of Backing which can be another cotton layer cake of pre-cut fabrics, or flannel material.  Don’t get heavy flannel as some sewing machines may really struggle with the thickness.  This will be cut into 42  10” squares.  

Matching thread

Walking foot if your machine has one but not necessary

Snips (scissors that have a spring-load to help with cutting the layers) or a really great pair of scissors.

2 heavy duty needles

Seam ripper (hopefully not)

Rotary cutter if you need to cut your 10” squares

Sewing machine and extension cord

The Finished size will be approximately 55”x64”
