Audra Keesee

I was born on February 17, 1994 and raised in Royston, Georgia. I am the daughter of Doug and Marie Minish and have one younger sister. I graduated Truett-McConnell University in 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Christian Studies. I am excited to serve children and families as the Children’s Ministry Director at Helen First Baptist. I was raised in a Christian home in which my family was always very active in serving at Middle River Baptist Church. I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of 8 on Easter Sunday, and since then God has been molding me and shaping me into the person I am today..

When in high school, I got involved in the youth group, and we began to do outreach ministry. It was during this time that God laid a burden and a passion on my heart for children.

God has given me the opportunity to serve children and their families in many capacities throughout the years both in and out of the country. In 2010 I began to dream and vision ways to reach the children in the community. That is when God allowed me to start a children’s summer camp. Camp River Bend celebrated its 5th year anniversary the summer of 2015. Throughout its course, Camp River Bend was able to serve and see many children come to know Christ.

During my time at Truett-McConnell College, I began to attend Helen First Baptist and became involved in the AWANA program. It has been such a blessing to serve and teach the preschoolers on Wednesday nights. I am excited to see what great things God is going to do in the future through the children’s ministry at Helen First Baptist.
